Kalizo is perfectly situated for game viewing at its best. Cruising the Zambezi and co-joined rivers, while fishing, bird-watching and viewing game is probably the most relaxing and wonderful way to see nature at its pristine best. Apart from the elephant, hippos and crocs you are likely to see close to Kalizo Lodge and while out in the boats on the rivers, there are a wealth of Game Parks within a reasonable day trip area of the lodge.

In the Caprivi itself there are the Caprivi Game park, the Mamili and Mudumu reserves and the Mahango Game Reserve, while in Botswana besides the extraordinary Chobe Game Reserve there is also the rightfully famous Okavango Delta.

Val is very knowledgable about the area, what to see and do where and how far everything is. Why not let her organise you a houseboat trip to Chobe, where you can overnight in the reserve on the boat, or go on to a game lodge, returning to the houseboat to jouney home to Kalizo, or perhaps you would prefer a flip over the Okavango, or a safari there?
