We offer the choice of a traditional Tribal African wedding, or a beautiful traditional western-style wedding, complete with minister, music, reception and wedding cake, all in an African Bush venue that will delight your guests and provide the most comfortable and affordable accommodation for the whole party.

Your wedding photos, will reflect the magnificence of the African surroundings and the wedding party can party against the backdrop of sunset on the Zambezi river well into the night to the beat and rhythms of the African bush.

Our bar lapa, served by Tommy, is well-stocked and has a large area for dancing as well as an outside area around a central fire. The whole area lends itself to an intimate and spectacular event geared to suit you on your special day.

Couples with their wedding parties, who have taken advantage of the peace, tranquility and sheer magnificence of the Kalizo river setting, have enjoyed a uniquely African experience. We can accommodate your whole wedding party and show you the sun, moon and stars as you have never seen them before.

Apart from the vast, lazy river running by, with its makoros, hippos and tigerfish, there are any number of other great things to do within a 100 Km radius of the lodge. Game parks are nearby, the Victoria Falls is an easy day excursion and one can visit a tribal fishing village, partake of a champagne breakfast on a sandbank in the river, watch elephants wander by the camp, take a sunset cruise and see the myriad birds that abound here.

 After the wedding, dance under the stars, listen to the African drums and take home the warm memories of our  very special corner of Africa.
