As Kalizo is conveniently situated close to three of Southern Africa’s major tourist attractions, namely the Chobe National Park in Botswana, Zimbabwe’s famed Victoria Falls and Livingstone in Zambia, plus the Okavango Swamps, we can arrange trips to these attractions.

WEDDINGS:
Get married in the traditional African style. Kalizo Lodge is ideal for intimate weddings. We can arrange everything for your special day, either on land or on Sir Osis of the River.
GAME VIEWING:
On offer now is a day trip to Chobe National Park . Leave katima at 6.30am drive to entrance of Chobe National Park, meet up with a Tour operator and board a game viewing vehicle and spend 3 hrs game viewing, at lunch time we will board a boat for a light lunch and then spend another 3 hrs on a boat cruise then at 16:00 hours return to our vihicle and return back to katima arriving at 18.00 hrs. You can also do One day (or several days) or overnight trips to Chobe National Park. Chobe offers a host of great lodges and hotels for gameviewing in style, or return to the tranquility of Kalizo at night. Enquiry or provisional booking
VICTORIA FALLS: with overnight stops at great hotels, and time to indulge in feeding the elephants and an Elephant ride through a game reserve, or gameviewing on Horseback, plus a trip by helicopter over the falls for a unique photographic opportunity. How to get to Kalizo Lodge by road: Kalizo is easily accessible by all vehicles from Windhoek via Rundu to Katima Mulilo, or Johannesburg or Zimbabwe, via Kasane in Botswana. Take the Ngoma Road (BB) and turn down the D3508 (Kalimbeza Road). Drive 20km and turn left at our Sign Board and travel following our boards for 5kms.
Regular Air Services: For fly in guests, the following regular air services are available:
· Air Namibia – Windhoek to Katima Mulilo (Mpacha Airport)
· SAA & Britsh Airways – Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
· Nationwide & Britsh Airways and one time – Johannesburg to Livingstone
· Air Botswana – Joannesburg to Kasane in Botswana
Car Hire Services: We can arrange affordable Car Hire Serivces.
Transfers: The Lodge offers transfers from airports and towns Katima Mulilo, Kasane, Victoria Falls and Livingstone .
Health Requirements
Kalizo Lodge falls in the malaria area and therefore guests need to take anti-malaria tablets – please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Mosquito repellent and nets are provided in the chalets.
What to bring with you
Comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a light windbreaker, swimming costumes and a tracksuit. Camera, binoculars and personal medication.
